On June 12, 2026, Bayerische Motoren Werke, the German luxury automotive manufacturer, showcased the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, previewing the upcoming all-electric BMW M3 performance sedan. The concept showcased is near production; they are all set to reveal the production model in early 2027.
Launch may happen by 2026 in the European market with the price of €90,000 to €110,000 (₹98.9 lakhs to ₹1.21 crores). Following the launch, it will compete with the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, the Tesla Model S Plaid, and the Audi RS e-tron GT. Let’s have a closer look at this to-be-launched pure-electric performance sedan from BMW.
Front-end look, in-profile view, and rear appearance
Upfront, it features the brand’s classic ‘Shark Nose’, giving it an aggressive appearance; the slim and illuminated horizontal kidney grille houses sensors and branding with the BMW emblem, reflecting the brand identity; and double-yellow light headlights just below the hood give it a unique identity.
Other noticeable elements on the front end are V-shaped hood vents near the bonnet – they improve aerodynamics by extracting the hot air and improving front-end lift – and a large front splitter below the bumper – it ensures high-speed stability by channelling the airflow around the body.
On the sides, it features muscular wheel arches that help in accommodating wider performance tyres; a long sedan silhouette with a long wheelbase, short overhang and fast roofline – together they not only improve aerodynamics but also add sportier proportions; and racing-inspired thin stalk-mounted mirrors to reduce drag and ensure better airflow across the body.

The in-profile view also includes flush-type door handles, adds a premium touch and gives a clear appearance; motorsport-inspired centre-lock alloy wheels also improve braking cooling and enhance visual impact; and blacked-out window trim and outside rear-view mirrors add visual strength.
At the rear, it boasts a ducktail spoiler with the decklid, which keeps the car stable at high speed; a massive diffuser below the bumper accelerates the airflow beneath the car by reducing the aerodynamic drag; slim, full-width LED taillights create a wide stance; and a sculpted bumper adds a race-inspired appearance, making it recognisable from below.
Four-seat layout, and full-width Panoramic Vision Display

Inside, it features a seating capacity of four people in a layout of 2-2, meaning each row has two individual bucket seats, which are made up of natural-fibre composites with Bathurst Blue and Berry Red two-tone Merino leather finishes; a squircle black nubuck leather-wrapped steering wheel with red buttons for control and red paddle controls also visible behind it; and a slim and simplified centre console with a red-finished gear selector
The dashboard is equipped with a Panoramic Vision Display which runs in the entire width of the windscreen, which shows speed, navigation, driving data, vehicle information and ADAS alerts. At the centre of the dashboard, just above the central console, there is a large floating touchscreen infotainment system, which features Navigation, Media, Vehicle settings, Climate controls and Performance menus.
1,000 hp power output, and a 500 km WLTP range are anticipated
The powertrain and performance details are still pending. Reportedly, it will get an electric motor on each wheel, featuring an advanced electric all-wheel drive drivetrain, and may use a double-speed automatic transmission. Set to be equipped with a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with the next-generation cylindrical battery cells with 800-volt high-voltage electrical architecture for fast DC charging and better efficiency.
The combined power output is anticipated to be above 1,000 hp, which will help this car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds. Its top speed is anticipated to be above 250 kmph. It’s tough to say anything about its range; we expect that on the WLTP cycle, it will be around 500 km. Reports suggest that it will support up to 400 kW DC, which may add a WLTP range of 300 km within 10 minutes of charging.
