The Chinese automobile manufacturer Geely has started taking orders for the Geely E2 in the European market from August 5, 2026. They have introduced the model with the starting introductory price of €19,490 (₹21.42 lakh). The regular starting price is €21,490 (₹23.66 lakh); a €2,000 (₹2.24 lakh) discount is available for the buyers who book before the end of the promotional offer.
Currently it is available for pre-order in Belgium, delivery for which will start in September 2026. It is a five-door electric hatchback, which comes with a seating capacity of 5 people in traditional 2-3 arrangements. The cabin is quite spacious with ample headroom and legroom for five individuals and can easily accommodate five adults.
Behind the second row, it has a boot space of 375 liters, which is accessible via tailgate. The rear seats are foldable in 60:40. By folding the second-row seats, the boot space can be 1,320 liters, which enables carrying big luggage. Also features a frunk (front trunk storage) of 70 liters, which helps in carrying the small items conventionally.
The length, width, and height of the Geely E2 are 4,135 mm, 1,805 mm, and 1,580 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2,650 mm and ground clearance is 140 mm. Its distance between the axles is longer by 150 mm, 110 mm, 70 mm, 250 mm, and 227 mm compared to the BYD Dolphin Surf, the Citroën ë-C3, the Hyundai Inster, the Leapmotor T03, and the Dacia Spring, respectively.

Outside, it has wedge-shaped LED headlights housing integrated feather-shaped daylight running lights and LED headlamps, lower air intakes, and air curtains on the front end; and rounded wheel arches cladding, lower body cladding, double-toned alloy wheels, semi-hidden flush-type door handles, black-outed A-pillar-mounted outside rear-view mirrors, and black-outed pillars on the sides.
The rear has got a roof-mounted shark-fin antenna, a roof-integrated spoiler, a through-type P-shape LED taillight integrating taillamps on the edges, GEELY lettering on the tailgate, a bumper-integrated horizontal-shape reflector on the side just below the tailgate, and a horizontal-shape parking light beneath the number plate holder. Built on the Global Intelligent New Energy Architecture platform.

Its front and rear suspension are MacPherson independent and multi-link independent, respectively. It sits on 16-inch wheels; the front wheel gets a ventilated disc brake, and the rear features a drum. Powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is mounted on the front axle. The e-motor is mated with a single-speed automatic transmission.
They have introduced three models, which are Pro, Max, and Ultra. The first one generates the power of 82 hp, and the last two generate 116 hp. The peak power for all three variants is 150 Nm. Available with two different lithium-ion battery packs, which are 35 kWh and 47 kWh. With the standard and large battery pack, it gives a range of 252 km and 345 km, respectively.
Its top speed is 130 km/h, and the acceleration timing for 0 to 50 km/h is 4.6 seconds for the Max and Ultra variants; the Pro variant takes a little more time. The electrical architecture is 400-volt, which supports DC chargers up to 70 kW, which takes 25 minutes for 30 to 80 percent charging.
It comes with an on-board 6.6 kW AC charger, which takes 5 hours and 6 hours 42 minutes for a full charge for standard and large battery packs, respectively. Inside, it has a 14.6-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system at the center of the dashboard and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster under the steering wheel showing driving data.

Other notable features are automatic climate control, which maintains the cabin temperature; rear AC vents to keep the rear occupants cool; heated and electronically adjustable front seats to keep the occupants warm in winter and give a comfortable seating position; and a wireless smartphone charging pad to charge the phone conveniently.
