The Chinese automaker Geely has started the pre-sale for the Galaxy Starshine 7, a plug-in hybrid vehicle with a sedan body, on April 16, 2026. It is available in four variants, whose pre-sale price ranges from 112,800 to 142,800 in Chinese yuan; it translates to 15.41 lakh to 19.51 lakh in Indian rupee.
The launch of the Geely Galaxy Starshine 7 may happen in mid-May 2026; shortly after that, the delivery will start. It is a five-seater sedan with a layout of two and three, whose length is 4958 mm, width is 1915 mm and height is 1505 mm, making it longer compared to its main rival, the BYD Seal 06 DM-i.
Front, Side & Rear Design

Up front, the Galaxy Starshine 7 gets a Galaxy Waterfall Grille, giving futuristic and premium EV-like styling. It features slim LED headlights that add aggression and also improve aerodynamics. The sculpted hood lines add muscular stance and visual depth, and the sporty bumper not only gives it a performance-orientated look but also improves airflow.
On the sides, a long sedan silhouette gives it an executive look as well as enhances its road dominance. The flowing character lines are running from front and rear; it adds visual continuity. It has a slightly sloping roof which adds a sporty appearance and also balances elegance. The door handles are flush-type, giving a premium feel, and there are large alloy wheels for better aerodynamics.
At the rear, the full-width LED taillights are available, which makes the back quite eye-catching. The sleek taillamps mirror the front-end lighting profile, and the integrated lip spoiler improves its sporty character. The tailgate layout is clean with minimal badging, which adds a sophisticated look. The bumper at the rear is sporty in terms of design, which enhances performance aesthetics.
Comfort, Convenience & Safety Features

The Galaxy Starshine 7 is equipped with ventilated and heated seats with a massage function; it has a spacious cabin with ample space for five adults so they can travel for a long distance without any inconveniences. It features multiple zone climate control, which helps with temperature setting inside the cabin; ambient lighting improves the luxury feel; and a 16-speaker audio system provides an immersive sound experience.
It gets a 15.6-inch central touchscreen as an infotainment system which acts as the control hub of the car; it manages navigation, media and controls. There’s also a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster that shows all the driving dates. It even features a multi-zone voice control which controls the function with voice commands. Other notable convenience features are keyless entry & push start and automated parking assist that helps in tight spaces.
To ensure safety, it features the H3 Assisted Driving System with the set-up of 26 sensors that includes cameras, millimetre wave radars, and ultrasonics to give a 360° view on screen. It also gets Highway Navigation Assist, which helps in lane keeping, overtaking, and cruising; Adaptive Cruise Control, which maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead; and Automatic Emergency Braking, which applies brakes automatically if it detects any obstacle.
Powertrain & Performance
It comes with the Leishen (Thor) AI Hybrid 2.0 system. It is available in two drivetrains, which are FWD, which comes with a single motor on the front axle, and the latter is AWD, featuring two motors, one on the front axle and the other on the rear axle. The transmission for both drivetrains is single-speed automatic.
The combined power output is 312 kW and peak torque is 526 Nm; it features a single battery pack that is 28.5 kWh whose only-electric CLTC range on the full charge is 220-230 km. The acceleration timing for 0-100 km/h is only 5.4 seconds for the top trim. It supports fast charging, which charges 10-80% within 15 minutes.
