Nissan, the Japanese automaker, has revealed two all-new sports utility vehicles at the Vision event. One of them is the third-generation Juke, an all-electric SUV, and the fifth-generation X-Trail, a hybrid SUV. With the revealing of these SUVs, the discussion has gained momentum.
These two upcoming SUVs from Nissan are not labelled as concepts, meaning they have been showcased as near-production models. Their global debut may happen in the very near future with affordable pricing.
3rd-Gen Juke Showcased
The Juke was introduced back in 2010; its second generation debuted in 2019, and now the third generation with an electric powertrain is set for its global introduction in Spring 2027. Its production is all set to start at Sunderland, United Kingdom, in late 2026.
It is set to be developed on the CMF-EV platform, which is also used in its sibling, the Leaf. As it is going to share underpinning with the Leat, it is expected that it will be introduced globally with two LPF battery packs which are 52 kWh and 75 kWh, giving a WLTP range from 400 km to 600 km.

Like its sibling, it is more likely to come with a single PMS motor being mounted with front wheels featuring FWD drivetrain. Its transmission is set to be single-speed automatic. It may support up to a 100 kW DC charger, adding a good range within half an hour of charging.
The showcase of the third-generation Juke has revealed all about its exterior and design. Up front it features sharp geometric styling that gives it a cyberpunk look, split LED headlights in a triangular shape, a closed-off grill for modern EV styling, and black cladding around the bumper to add the feel of a rugged SUV.
On the sides, it gets a coupe-like roofline that gives it a sporty crossover appearance, wheel arches with a chunky design that add a muscular look, and flush-type door handles to improve aerodynamics, but for second-row access, the doors get door handles that are integrated with the C-pillar, and large aero-optimised wheels to improve efficiency and reduce drag.
At the rear, it gets triangular LED tail lamps that match with the front lighting signature; the bumper is quite chunky, and fearing its rugged crossover identity, the roof rails are integrated with the body, adding a sporty look, and the tailgate is quite compact, maximising cabin space.
5th-Gen X-Trail Revealed
The X-Trail, also known as the Rogue in some markets, was introduced in 2000; then its second generation launched in 2007, the third generation debuted back in 2013, the fourth generation was available for sale in 2022, and now the fifth generation is expected to make its global debut in late 2026.
It is set to be based on the e-POWER hybrid system, having an engine and two motors mounted with a front and rear axle featuring an all-wheel-drive drivetrain. It is also showcased uncovered; it has revealed all about its exterior and design. It has X-shaped front fascia, large black mask-like panel, slim upper LED headlamps and hexagonal DRLs inside grille that gives it a modern look.

On the sides, it features an upright SUV stance, a large glass area making it family-friendly, diagonal cuts on doors, a unique pattern on the D-pillar, and stylish double-tone alloy wheels in an aerodynamic design that gives it better efficiency. It adds modern geometric styling and maintains sport utility vehicle practicality.
The rear features L-shaped tail lamps that feature modern and sharp LED graphics. The tail lamps at the back are connected with the rear windscreen, adding a premium and clean finish. The bumper at the rear is quite muscular, which enhances its rugged character and also gives it a planted stance.
Its interior is going to be quite spacious and full of smart and high-tech features. It is set to get a digital instrument cluster for drivers that will have all the driving data and a large-screen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple and a premium sound system.
