What has the Chery iCAUR 03 spotted revealed?

Dimensions for the Indian-spec model are still pending. The spied image clearly shows the same size as the model sold in the international market. So the length, width, height, wheelbase and ground clearance are anticipated to be 4,406 mm, 1,910 mm and 1,715 mm, respectively, with the wheelbase of 2,715 mm.
What else do we know about the upcoming Chery iCAUR 03?
For the Indian market, Chery has already patented the design of the Chery iCAUR 03; the filling images also confirm that the design of this upcoming car will be similar to the model sold in the international market. Apart from this, nothing is officially confirmed for this imminent off-road electric car. Reports suggest that not only the design and dimensions but also the rest, including the powertrain and features, will be the same.
The Chery iCAUR 03 sold in the international market gets two electric motors, one on each axle. The front motor delivers 70 kW power, and the rear generates 135 kW; their combined power output is 205 kW. With two e-motors, its drivetrain is intelligent all-wheel drive. A 69.8 kWh LFP battery pack is installed under the floor, giving the 418 km range on NEDC conditions.

A single-motor featuring a RWD drivetrain is also on sale in the international market and puts out 135 kW. It has a lithium-ion battery pack of 65.7 kWh, giving the NEDC range of 426 km. It is still uncertain in India whether it will go for sale as RWD or AWD or both. The car that we are seeing in the spied image is an AWD variant, but reports suggest there will also be an RWD at the affordable pricing.
The international-spec model’s cabin is full of features and technology that ensure premium comfort. The dashboard has a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, which supports wireless smartphone connectivity, a voice control system, and connected car technology with OTA software updates.

Any official update on the Chery iCAUR 03 launch date and price?
In the Indian market, the Chery iCAUR 03 will be sold with the different nameplate under the banner of JSW Motor. The company is yet to make its debut in India, which is anticipated around festive season 2026 with the Chery Jetour T2 launch. There’s a high speculation that the Chery iCAUR 03 will go on sale in India somewhere in 2027.
In India, the JSW Motor will position this off-roader electric SUV against the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and Tata Sierra EV. It’s tough to say anything about its price in the Indian market; we are expecting it to cost ex-showroom something similar to its competitors in India.
