On September 10, 2026, Hyundai Motor India Limited launched the Lounge Edition for the Hyundai Creta Electric, a mid-size electric SUV, in a total of four variants with premium interior and exterior features. The newly introduced edition’s sale has already started with the launch, whose delivery will start in the very near future. Let’s have a closer look at this new edition of this Hyundai e-car.

What’s new?

The Lounge Edition gets an 11.6-inch entertainment screen behind the front co-passenger seats that not only supports video streaming but also gaming and phone mirroring, lounge-specific upholstery to provide seating comfort for all, and has silver-finish elements on the dashboard and window trim to give a more premium and distinctive appearance.

Other interior feature upgrades include moon-white ambient lighting for an upscale atmosphere, lounge-branded rear headrest cushions for additional support and comfort for rear seating occupants, a wireless phone charging pad for enhanced phone charging convenience for passengers, and a dash cam to record videos during driving for future reference. 

Upgrades are not only limited to the cabin; its exterior also has seen feature improvements. It is now available in a new golden bronze exterior colour with black elements across the body, such as a black front and rear skid plate, a balck roof-integrated rear spoiler, C-pillar black garnishing, and an black outside rear view mirror; even the 17-inch alloy wheels are black.

A total of four variants of the Hyundai Creta Electric Lounge Edition for sale: the Excellence LR Lounge with the ex-showroom price of ₹24.34 lakh, the Excellence LR Lounge Dual Tone for ₹24.49 lakh, the ₹25.07 lakh for Excellence LR Lounge + Home Charger, and the ₹25.22 lakh for Excellence LR Lounge + Home Charger Dual Tone.

They are already on sale from September 10, 2026, whose delivery may begin in the next few days. Details regarding its arrival at the dealership are still undisclosed. The booking for the Lounge Edition of this car is already taking place on the brand’s official website; the buyer integrated may book.

Any other changes?

The Hyundai Creta Electric Lounge Edition is based on the Excellence LR trim; apart from the above exterior and interior feature upgrades, the rest remains the same. Dimensions are still 4,340 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,655 mm in height, 2,610 mm in wheelbase, and 200 mm in ground clearance. 5 seats are available in 2-3 layouts with the cargo capacity of 433 litres.

The cabin has a granite grey and dark navy dual-tone interior with the floating centre console; it has an eight-way electronically adjustable driver and co-passenger seat, and the driver’s seat has a memory function. Features that enhance comfort and convenience are a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ventilated front seats. 

The dashboard has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment with the Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and voice recognition. Other feature highlights are the Bose 8-speaker premium sound system with the front centre speaker and subwoofer, Hyundai Bluelink connected-car technology with over-the-air software updates, Home-to-Car with Alexa, and Digital Key.

Get an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor on the front axle with the single-speed reduction gear that delivers 126 kW. Since the IPMSM is available on the front axle, its drivetrain is front-wheel-drive. Three driving modes are available; they are Eco, Normal, and Sport. The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 kmph is 7.9 seconds. With the 51.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack giving the 510 km ARAI-certified range.
