As we reported, Leapmotor, a Chinese automobile manufacturer, is going to launch the updated C-series SUVs for the domestic market on June 16, 2026; they did so with better range and cosmetic changes. They have introduced the C10, C11 and C16 with many upgrades, which is set to be known as the 2027 model. Let’s have a closer look at each of the updated sport utility vehicles.
2027 Leapmotor C10

The updated Leapmotor C10 is available for sale with the price ranging from 125,800 to 142,800 yuan, which translates to ₹17.46 lakh to ₹19.82 lakh. Outside, it features the new “Sky Light” split-headlamp design, slim LED DRLs, an active front grill, flush-type door handles, blacked-out ORVMs with integrated blinkers, a full-width taillight and a sculpted tailgate. The length is 4,740 mm, the width is 1,900 mm, the height is 1,680 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,825 mm.
Inside, it gets a 60-inch augmented reality head-up display which projects driving information on the windscreen; a 17.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system at the centre of the dashboard that acts as the control centre of the cabin; an 8.8-inch slim digital instrument cluster under the two-spoke steering wheel that shows all driving data clearly; and two wireless phone charging pads and two cup holders on the centre console for convenience.
Available as both EREV and EV with the rear-wheel-drive configuration. The former is a 70 kW (95 hp) 1.5 litre petrol ICE under the hood and a 200 kW (268 hp) electric motor on the rear axle. Equipped with a 38.7 kWh LFP battery pack, whose pure-electric CLTC range is 290 km, the latter gets a 230 kW (308 hp) electric motor on the rear axle. It features an 81.9 kWh LFP battery and runs up to 660 km.
2027 Leapmotor C11

The newly introduced Leapmotor C11 in China cost 143,800 to 159,800 yuan (19.96 lakh to 22.18 lakh rupees) before taxes. Outside, it features a split headlight setup featuring LED DRLs below the hood, and the main headlights are integrated with the bumper, lower horizontal air intakes, wheel arch cladding, aero-optimised alloy wheels, flush-type door handles, a roof spoiler, an integrated rear spoiler, and through-type full-width taillights.
Dimensionally, it measures 4,780 mm longer, 1,905 mm wider, and 1,658 mm taller. The wheelbase is 2,930mm. Get a Qualcomm 8295P chip that powers a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch 3K touchscreen infotainment system, and a 60-inch Augmented Reality Head-Up Display. Other notable features inside the cabin are Nappa leather upholstery and hidden air vents.
It is available as both EV and EREV with RWD drivetrains. The EREV features a 70 kW (94 hp) 1.5-litre petrol engine under the hood and a 200 kW (268 hp) electric motor on the rear axle. Comes with a 41.7 kWh LFP battery pack, giving the 300 km emission-free range on CLTC conditions. And the EV gets a 220 kW (295 hp) e-motor on the rear axle. It features an 81.9 kWh LFP battery pack that runs up to 640 km after each full charge.
2027 Leapmotor C16

The facelifted Leapmotor C16 retails at 145,800 to 169,800 yuan, equivalent to 20.24 to 23.57 lakh rupees. The length, width, height, and wheelbase are 4,925 mm, 1,905 mm, 1,770 mm, and 2,825 mm, respectively. Outside, it boasts ‘Waterfall’ grille-inspired styling, a split headlight setup with full-width LED DRLs and low-mounted main headlights, flush-type door handles, large alloy wheels, connected LED taillights and an integrated rear spoiler.
Offered with both five-person and six-person seating configurations with zero-gravity front seats. Inside, it features a 60-inch augmented reality head-up display, a 17.3-inch 3K touchscreen infotainment system, and an 8.8-inch driver display. They run on Leapmotor OS and are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. To enhance the cabin audio experience, it features a 23-speaker 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos sound system.
Like the above two, it is also available as an EREV and EV with a RWD drivetrain. The first one gets a 70 kW (95 hp) 1.5-litre petrol engine under the bonnet and a 200 kW (268 hp) electric motor on the rear axle. It gets a 38.9 kWh LFP, whose emission-free range is 280 km. The second comes with a 230 kW (308 hp) electric vehicle in the rear. Get an 81.9 kWh LFP battery pack, which runs up to 630 km. The range for both are in the CLTC condition.
