Avatr, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched the Avatr 07L in three variants, which are Elite, Max+, and Ultra, on August 8, 2026, in the Chinese market. The first one is available for sale with the prices of 229,900 CNY (34,070 USD), 249,900 CNY (37,040 USD), and 279,900 CNY (41,490 USD). Its main rivals are the XPeng G9, the Voyah Passion S, and the Xiaomi YU7.
They are equipped with an 89.33 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The CLTC range for Elite and Max+ is 725 km, and the same for Ultra is 650 km. The first two variants have RWD drivetrains, which get a PMSM with single-speed automatic transmission at the rear axle, and the last one is AWD, getting two PMSMs with one-speed automatic transmission at the rear axle and an induction motor on the front axle.
The maximum power output of the first two variants is 305 kW, and peak torque is 435 Nm; the same for the last one is 712 kW and 996 Nm. The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 5.9 seconds for Elite and Max+ and 3.7 seconds for Ultra. The speed for each variant is 200 km/h. They are built on 800-volt support for a 5C charger, which takes 10 minutes for 30 to 80 percent charging.
The dimensions in terms of length, width, and height are 4,910 mm, 1,980 mm, and 1,650 mm, respectively. The height for the Ultra variant is 1670 mm, 20 mm more than the Elite and Max+ variants. The wheelbase is 2,990 mm; compared to the standard variant, it measures 50 mm more between the front and rear axles. For clarity, its wheelbase is 8 mm shorter than the XPeng G9’s and 100 mm shorter than the Voyah Passion S’s and the Xiaomi YU7’s.
Available for sale as a five-seater with a 2-3 layout, which has a frunk (front trunk storage) of 100 liters that helps in carrying the luggage. Features a boot space of 735 liters from the tailgate, which is expandable to 1,645 liters by folding the rear seats. It has “Magic Carpet” suspension with double-wishbone independent at the front and H-arm multi-link independent rear with CDC adaptive dampers.
Equipped with the Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, which features NCA-assisted driving, city and highway-assisted driving functions, roaming cruise assist, navigation-free assisted cruising, and advanced perception. The last two variants get Huawei’s 896-line LiDAR units at the roof, which can detect objects as small as 14 cm from the distances of 120 meters with a dual-optical-path architecture and image-grade 3D recognition.
Inside, it gets a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic screen on the base of the windshield, which shows all the driving-related information clearly. The dashboard’s center has a 15.6-inch touchscreen as an infotainment system, which acts as a control panel; it is integrated with the 16-speaker Meridian Premium System. Inside, it also features a 9-inch electronic interior rear-view mirror, which gives a clear view of traffic behind.
Available with five exterior color options, including Moonrise, Andes Grey, Cotton White, Mineral Rock Black, and Damson Metallic. To ensure safety of occupants, it has 9 airbags, 90% high-strength steel/aluminum body-in-white construction, and dual integrated die-casting. It has dual zero-gravity seats with 120° reclining positions. They are also electrically adjustable and also feature heating and ventilation features.
Other notable features are dual-zone automatic climate control, which lets you set the different temperature for the co-passenger; PM2.5 activated-carbon filtration to get fresh air inside the cabin; and ambient lighting to enhance the cabin aesthetic. Outside, it has frameless doors, soft-close doors, double-layer acoustic glass, semi-flush door handles, a panoramic roof, and an electric sunshade.
