The Chinese automaker Geely launched the Galaxy M7 on April 28, 2026, with the limited-time price range from 109,800 to 137,800 CNY (16,058 to 20,153 USD) for the domestic market, and it received more than 12,000 orders within.
It is a compact SUV with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The China launch takes place in a total of four variants: Base, Mid, Plus, and Flagship, whose prices are 109,800 CNY (16,058 USD), 117,800 CNY (17,228 USD), 127,800 CNY (18,690 USD), and 137,800 CNY (20,153 USD), respectively.
The official price for the base is 119,800 CNY (17,521 USD), the mid is 127,800 CNY (18,691 USD), the plus is 137,800 CNY (20,153), and the flagship is 147,800 CNY (21,615 USD). Drivers who want to avail themselves of the benefit of a discount should do their booking ASAP.
Seating, Boot & Dimensions
The Galaxy M7 is a five-seater car with a layout of two and three; it is designed as a family-oriented mid-size SUV. It has a cargo space of 700 liters, and by folding down the rear seats, the boot space can be extended up to 1,990 liters to carry big luggage.
The dimensions in terms of length, width, and height are 4,770 mm, 1,905 mm, and 1,685 mm, respectively, making it almost identical to its main rival, the BYD Song Pro DM-i Flying Edition from BYD. The wheelbase is 2,785 mm, long enough to give ample legroom, and ground clearance is 170 mm, good for tackling speed breakers.
Powertrain & Performance
The Galaxy M7 comes with a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a thermal efficiency of 47.26%, whose power output is 82 kW and peak torque is 136 Nm. A motor is mounted with a front axle, which generates the power of 175 kW and 262 Nm.
The vehicle comes with a front-wheel-drive drivetrain and a single-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. Available with two battery packs, 18.4 kWh and 29.8 kWh, whose only-electric CLTC range is 139 km and 225 km, respectively. The overall CLTC range with the standard battery pack is 1,644 km, and larger is 1,730 km. (Compare with Galaxy Starshine 8).
It supports 60 KW and 90 KW DC chargers, which take 15 minutes for 30 to 80 percent charging, depending on the battery pack. The CLTC mileage is 3.99 liters per 100 km of driving; with the fuel tank of 60 liters, it gives the range of 1,505 km.
Design & Exterior
The Galaxy M7 is available in five color options, which are Haoyu Blue, Chenlin Green, Xinghui Silver, Yunxi White, and Xuanye Black. Up front, it gets full-width ‘Star-River Ripple’ LED daylight running lights, featuring a sharp and futuristic lighting signature and wide stance to give a strong road presence.
In profile, the vehicle gets a coupe-style silhouette to reduce drag and improve efficiency; a floating roof design to give floating visual effects; smooth flowing lines to reduce drag; 20-inch large alloy wheels to enhance the premium feel and improve grip; and chrome window trims to add elegance.
The rear gets a full-width LED taillight bar mirroring the front, which is a consistent design language. Features a centered brand logo for clean and premium positioning. Also get a diffuser at the rear; it adds aggression and a performance vibe. It comes with a layered bumper, which gives depth and a muscular stance.
Interior & Tech
The Galaxy M7 gets a 15.4-inch 2.5K floating touchscreen for infotainment that is the main control panel of the cabin, a full digital instrument cluster that shows all driving data, and a large head-up display that projects driving details on the windshield. They are powered by the Flyme Auto 2 system and the Longying-1 (7 nm) chip.
