JSW MG Motor India, a joint venture between JSW Group and SAIC Motor, has increased the ex-showroom price for the JSW MG Windor EV, ranging from ₹40,000 to ₹60,000. The carmaker is selling this electric vehicle in the Indian market in a total of 5 variants that are Excite, Exclusive, Essence, Exclusive Pro, and Essence Pro. They increased the price for each.
The Excite was earlier available for sale with the price of ₹14.10 lakh, but now its price has been increased by ₹60,000; now it costs ₹14.70 lakh. The Exclusive was earlier available for ₹15.53 lakh, but now it costs ₹16.00 lakh, an increase of ₹46,900 compared to the previous price. Essence’s price has also been increased by ₹46,900; its price has increased from ₹16.53 lakh to ₹17.00 lakh.
The old price of Exclusive Pro was ₹17.38 lakh, with an increase of ₹52,000; now it costs ₹17.90 lakh. The top-end variant, Essence Pro, which was earlier available with a price of ₹18.60 lakh, now costs ₹19.00 lakh, with an increase of ₹40,000. The company has raised the prices of all variants of this model to offset increased production and input costs.
It is being speculated that the price hike could impact sales in July 2026; however, it will only become clear once the carmakers have released the sale figures officially. In terms of percentage, the price hike is steepest for the base model, which has seen an increase of 4.26, whereas the increase for the top-end model is only 2.15.

The JSW MG Windor EV gets a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the front axle, featuring a front-wheel-drive drivetrain. The electric motor is mated with a single-speed automatic transmission, which generates the maximum power of 136 PS and peak torque of 200 Nm.
This model is available for sale with two lithium-ion battery pack configurations: the first one is 38 kWh and the other is 52.9 kWh. With the standard one, it gives the ARAI-certified range of 332 kilometers, but the large one helps it to run up to 449 kilometers under the same condition. The real-world range is between 280 km and 350 km.
Support DC chargers up to 45 kW and 60 kW for standard and large battery packs, respectively, which take only 45 to 50 minutes for 20-80% charging. Comes with a standard 3.3 kWh AC charger, which takes 14 to 20 hours for full charge. Notably, the option of a 7.4 kW AC charger is available as an optional extra; it takes a time of only 7 to 10 hours for a full charge.
Features four different driving modes that are Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport. This car is 4,295 mm longer, 1,850 mm wider, and 1,677 mm taller. Its wheelbase is 2,700 mm, and ground clearance is 186 mm. It comes with a seating capacity of 5 people in a 2-3 layout with a boot space of 604 liters and 579 liters for the standard and large battery packs, respectively.
Inside, it has a 15.6-inch GrandView touchscreen infotainment system at the center of the dashboard with wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and connected car technology and up to a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster under the steering wheel showing all driving data.
Other notable features are the Infinity 9-speaker premium audio system, Infinity View panoramic glass roof, Aero Lounge seats with 135° rear-seat recline, ventilated and 6-way electrically adjustable front seats, 256-color ambient lighting, the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging.
