An electric SUV from Mahindra Auto will soon be introduced in the Indian market, which is reported to be BE 7, the more premium and larger sibling of the BE 6. This all-electric SUV has been spotted charging at the EV charging station, which has revealed the exterior design details.
Things regarding the launch aren’t official yet, but in reports it is mentioned that the debut will happen somewhere in 2027. The actual launch timeline and related details are yet to follow.
The spied images of the upcoming BE 7 are from somewhere in Karnataka, as we can clearly see text on the hoarding placed aside from the vehicle in Kannada. These photos have surfaced online, it has been shared by the u/ParticularNext1196 on Reddit.
Notably, in the Mahindra BE family, only one model, BE 6, is available; the upcoming BE 7 will be second in the series and positioned above the existing one. It will underpin the same born-electric INGLO architecture.
More design details have emerged.
Recently surfaced BE 7 spy shots have revealed many more details for the exterior than the previous spy shots. At the front, we can see the signature C-shaped LED daylight running light, which is also offered with other models.
Another thing that we can clearly see on the front end is the horizontal-shaped air intakes that keep the electronic components cool. But the headlight graphics and closed-off grill detailing sit underneath the protective film.

From the sides, a sloping roofline is clearly visible. Its pillars, black-outted or not, are still hidden with the wrap. In profile view, other clearly visible elements are the A-pillar-mounted ORVMs that also have side indicators, geometric wheel arches, and hidden flush-type door handles.
Roof rails can also be seen from the sides, which doesn’t also add sportiness to the side view but also helps with mounting the luggage on the roof.

At the rear, a prominent spoiler can be seen that is integrated with the roof. A large windscreen and a signature C-shaped taillight are also visible from the back. The taillight mirrors the front-end DRL, because of which it becomes easier to recognise the model even from the back.
The bumper at the rear seems to have a clear appearance with the subtle horizontal reflector that illuminates during the night and makes the vehicle to other road users even though the taillamps are turned off.
The rest are unknown.
Apart from the details that emerged through the BE 7 spy shots, all the remaining are still pending. Looking from the sides, it looks a little longer than BE 6, but it is tough to say how much. Reports suggest it to be measured similarly to the BE 07 concept, which was showcased back in 2022.
For reference, the concept has a length, width and height of 4,565 mm, 1,900 mm and 1,660 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm. The prototype was showcased with the 5 seats with a 2-3 layout, making it clear that the model coming with the seating arrangement is the same as BE 6.

Not a single detail about the powertrain is disclosed. The drivetrain is RWD for the BE 6, so we are expecting that the upcoming BE 7 will also be offered with the same. Notably, Mahindra hasn’t introduced any EV with an AWD drivetrain, and reports suggest this model may come with it.
It is reported that the three different LFP battery packs will be offered, which are 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh. These are also available for the only model in the BE family. Features and technology details are also pending. The triple-screen setup on the dashboard has already been spotted in the previous spy shots, similar to the updated BE 6.
