Many national and international manufacturers have launched EVs in the Indian market which offer large boot space, but among those only a few that actually provide value for money. Here, we have come with the top 3 electric vehicles (EVs) which have large boot space. The list includes the Mahindra XEV 9e, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Tata Curvv EV. Mahindra XEV 9e

The mid-size electric coupe SUV Mahindra XEV 9e is available for sale with the ex-showroom price ranging from ₹21.90 lakh to ₹31.25 lakh. Comes with seating capacity of 5 people in layout of 2-3, behind the second row seats, it has boot space 663 litres, which help in carrying upto four 6 big luggages easily making the long drive convenient, and it even has front trunk storage of 150 liters that can be used for storing charging cables, tyre inflators, and other small items.
It is available with two different LFP battery packs that are 59 kWh and 79 kWh, whose range is 542 km and 656 km, respectively, on MIDC Conditions. The standard battery pack supports DC charger up to 140 kW, but the large does 180 kW, which takes 20 minutes for 20 to 80 percent charging. Featuring RWD drivetrain featuring electric motor on rear axle, which delivers 228 bhp power for standard variant and 282 bhp for top-trim. The peak torque is 380 Nm for the battery pack.
Hyundai Ioniq 5

The five-door electric crossover sport utility vehicle Hyundai Ioniq 5 is available with the ex-showroom price of ₹55.70 lakh. It also comes as a five-seater, which has cargo space of 584 liters behind the second row seats, which is expandable up to 1,580 litres, making the big luggages carrying convenient. It even has a front trunk storage of 58 liters that is usable for keeping the essentials. Its dimensions in terms of length, width and height are 4,655 mm, 1,890 mm and 1,625 mm, respectively.
It is also available with rear-wheel drive drivetrain featuring PMSM on the rear axle, notably, it uses the single-speed automatic transmission. The maximum power output is 225 bhp and peak torque is 350 Nm, which helps it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.5 seconds, and top speed is 185 kmph. Equipped with a 84 kWh LFP battery pack, whose ARAI-certified range is 690 km. Built on 800-volt electrical architecture, which supports 350 kW DC charger, which takes 18 minutes for 10-80% charging.
Tata Curvv EV

The coupe electric SUV Tata Curvv EV is available with the ex-showroom price ranging from ₹16.99 lakh to ₹19.49 lakh. It is also a five seater car, but behind the rear seat, it gets a boot space of 500 liters helping carry 5 pieces of big luggages. The rear seats are foldable, increasing the cargo capacity to 973 liters, making carrying multiple huge luggages easy and convenient for users. Also features a front trunk storage, but just 11.6 liters, can be used as strong space for tiny items.
It is available as front-wheel drive configuration, meaning the electric motor is equipped with the front axle, which generates the power of 165 bhp and peak torque is 215 Nm. To sprint from 0 to 100 kmph, it takes 8.6 seconds, and the top speed is 160 kmph. The only available LFP battery pack is 55 kWh, which gives the range of 502 km on the ARAI conditions. Support DC charger upto 70 kW, which takes 40 minutes for 10 to 80 percent charging.
