Chery Automobile’s sub-brand, Chery Fulwin, started the pre-order for the Chery Fulwin A9, a mid-to-large all-electric sedan, on July 9, 2026, for three different variants, with prices ranging from 115,900 yuan to 135,900 yuan (₹16.31 lakh to ₹19.13 lakh). Anyone who pays an amount of 1,999 yuan (₹28,150) to exercise the option of preorder is set to get the seven exclusive pre-sale benefits.
The Chinese automobile manufacturer is expected to launch the model in August 2026, and a few weeks after that the delivery will begin. Note that the launch price is expected to be lower than the pre-order amount. Following the launch, the model will compete with the other pure electric sedans in the segment, including the BYD Han EV, Geely Galaxy E8, Xpeng P7+, and Xiaomi SU7.
It features Chery’s Lingfeng design language, whose aerodynamic drag coefficient is 0.223 Cd. They have introduced seven exterior color options that are Begonia Red, Cloud Pink Beige, Snowy White, Mountain Mist Purple, Basalt Gray, Singing Sand Green, and Ink Stone Black. Its length is 4,890 mm with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm; its width is 1,913 mm, and its height is 1,489 mm.

The cabin is available with two interior themes: Nightfall Purple-Black and Misty Purple-Gray. Available with 5 people seating in 2-3 arrangements with a boot space of 450 liters behind the second-row seat to carry luggage. It also features 32 storage compartments inside the cabin and 88-liter underfloor storage to enhance practicality for carrying the small luggage.
The dashboard is equipped with a 15.6-inch floating HD touchscreen at the center of the dashboard that runs on the Lingxi Smart Cabin 2.0 operating system, getting powered by a 3 nm high-performance cockpit chip. It is integrated with a 23-speaker AI Boya premium sound system. The infotainment screen supports over-the-air software updates, intelligent voice control with multi-turn conversations, and wireless multi-device connectivity.

Other notable features are dual wireless smartphone charging pads for phone charging convenience; multiple USB charging ports for phone charging or rear seating; automatic climate control with rear AC vents for better comfort of rear occupants; electrically adjustable front seats so the driver and co-passenger may find a comfortable seating position; and keyless entry and push-button start for convenience.
The legroom for both rows is 976 mm; rear-seating passengers can sit comfortably even for a long drive. Notably, by folding the rear seat, a 1.6-meter ‘king-size bed’ structure can be made to rest while going out. To enhance the cabin’s premiumness, it also has a panoramic glass roof to make the inside spacious, ambient interior lighting to enhance the mood for nighttime driving, and acoustic insulation for a quiet cabin experience.
Equipped with the Eagle Assist Driving System featuring 1 LiDAR sensor, 3 millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and a high-performance advanced driving assistant system chip, it supports end-to-end intelligent driving and parking functions. Other notable features are DP-EPS dual-pinion electric power steering, a Bosch IPB 2.0 brake-by-wire system, and a 37.6-meter braking distance from 100 km/h.

Features a permanent magnet synchronous motor, whose efficiency is 95%, with single-speed automatic transmission featuring a front-wheel-drive drivetrain. The electric motor generates a peak power of 175 kW (235 hp). Under the floor, it gets a 70 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate “Rhino Battery” pack, whose CLTC range is 665 km.
Features a 12-in-1 integrated electric drive, and its battery pack retains 90% capacity even at a -30-degree-Celsius temperature. For the battery pack’s safety, it features the Rhino 360° Safety Protection system, a 31-layer protection structure, and real-time cloud monitoring.
