Luxeed is a premium Chinese EV brand that is formed with the partnership between automaker Chery and tech giant Huawei; they showcased the Luxeed V9, a luxury multi-purpose vehicle, at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. The carmaker has now started the pre-sale of the vehicle with prices ranging from 399,800 to 529,800 Chinese yuan, which translates to 55,200 to 73,100 American dollars.
Interior & Features
The Luxeed V9 comes with the seating capacity of 7 people in a layout of 2-2-3 with the second-row captain seats, which come with an armrest. The vehicle features a cargo capacity of 790 liters that is capable of carrying 6 big pieces of luggage, which is expandable by folding the third-row and second-row seats. The cabin also has a sunken storage of 94 liters that is beneath the trunk floor to carry the smaller items.
Inside the car, there are a total 52 storage compartments and also a 10.9 L refrigerator for heating and cooling featuring double opening. The second-row seats are zero-gravity with mechanical massage functions. The rear seats come with the bed mode that can be used to make two 2-meter beds. On the dashboard, under the steering wheel, there’s a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that shows driving details.

A 17.2-inch 3K touchscreen infotainment system is placed at the center of the dashboard, which acts as the control system of the cabin. Not only this, A similar screen is provided for the front seating passenger for his/her entertainment. For rear seating passengers’ entertainment and gaming, a 21.4-inch 3K screen is mounted on the roof that supports MagLink for the PS5 and Switch.
To ensure the audio privacy, the cabin features 11 pieces of acoustic glass, which isolate the conversation audio between rows. It even has an onboard oxygen generator that can generate 10 liters of oxygen every minute, making it useful for the long trip; MOF air purification that neutralizes formaldehyde and PM2.5 to ensure the clean air inside the cabin; and UVC sterilization that kills 99.99% of viruses to ensure the well-being of occupants.
To ensure the safety of occupants, the cabin is equipped with a total of 13 airbags, including double front airbags, a front-center airbag, side airbags, and knee airbags, which play a crucial role in saving them during the unfortunate collision. It comes with Huawei ADS (Assist Driving System) 4.0 with the 896-Line LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) that makes the driving almost autonomous.
Powertrain & Performance

The Luxeed V9 comes as an extended-range electric vehicle, which is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine with a power output of 154 hp (115 kW), thermal efficiency of 43.23%; it acts as a generator to power the motor that runs the vehicle.
The EREV is offered with a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle with an RWD drivetrain, which generates the power of 288 hp (215 kW) and torque of 360 Nm (258 lb-ft). It makes the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in 5.9 seconds and goes up to 190 km/h (118 mph).
It also comes with a dual-motor setup featuring an AWD drivetrain; it gets an induction asynchronous motor on the front axle with rapid-response tuning and a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle. Its combined power output is 489 hp (365 kW) and peak torque is 600 Nm (442 lb-ft). To accelerate from the speed of 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph), it takes only 4.9 seconds, and top speed is electronically limited to 190 km/h (118 mph).
Both RWD and AWD come with two battery packs, which are 37 kWh LPF and 53.3 kWh NMC, providing a performance and range that is similar to the EXEED EX9, whose only-electric CLTC range is 158 km (98 miles) and 223 km (137 miles), respectively, and overall range with the standard battery pack is 1200 km and the same with the larger battery pack is 1250 km under the CLTC conditions.
Exterior & Design
The Luxeed V9 measures 5,359 mm in length, 2,009 mm in width, and 1,879 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 3,250 mm, and ground clearance is 165 mm. The car is offered with three exterior color options that are Velvet Purple, Metropolitan Silver, and Deep Sea Blue.
Up front, it features a smooth and grille-less “HIMA” design, a full-width LED light bar, and modern headlamps; it gets mechanical handles for better practicality, hidden rails, and large 20-inch alloy wheels on the sides; and the rear comes with a boxy tailgate, a continuous LED taillight strip, and an illuminated logo for the branding.
