Xiaomi Auto, the Chinese EV manufacturer, has achieved the milestone of 800,000 unit sales in 29 months since its first delivery in April 2024 for the model Xiaomi SU7. In May 2026, their cumulative sale was 700,000 units, and in the last 3.5 months, they have delivered 100,000 more units.
Interestingly, the company has achieved this milestone with just two models, the SU7 sedan and the YU7 SUV. Updates regarding the sales were shared by Lei Jun, CEO, Founder and Chairman of the company, via a Weibo post. Let’s have a closer look at its sales since the launch.
800,000 sales breakdown.
The Chinese carmaker Xiaomi Auto made its debut in the domestic market back in March 2024 with the launch of the Xiaomi SU7, an all-electric sedan, whose delivery began in April 2024. Of the 800,000 sales, more than 500,000 belong to this model, and the remaining around 300,000 deliveries are for the Xiaomi YU7, an electric SUV, which was launched in June 2025 and delivery began in July 2025.
The delivery milestone of 500,000 units for the SU7 sedan was achieved on August 17, 2026, and exactly 20 days after i.e. on September 7, 2026, the cumulative sale numbers crossed the mark of 800,000 units. As of July 2026, the total sales, including both models, were 767,630, with 499,175 for the SU7 electric sedan and 268,455 for the YU7 electric SUV.
Reportedly, in August 2026, they delivered more than 30,000 units, which makes the cumulative very close to the 800,000 delivery milestone, and the last 7 days’ sales helped in achieving the milestone. In 2026, between January and July, a total of 246,322 units were sold, with 39,002 in January, 20,414 in February, 21,440 in March, 36,702 in April, 32,759 in May, 34,738 in June, 31,267 in July, and above 30,000 in August.
About the Xiaomi SU7 and YU7.
The Xiaomi SU7 is available on sale in three variants: STD, Pro and Max. The first one is available with a single motor, and the last two with a double motor. The STD and Pro variants are one sale, with the 96.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack giving the CLTC range of 835 km and 770 km, respectively, and the Max is equipped with the 101.7 kWh NMC battery pack that runs up to 760 km on the CLTC condition.
The SU7 also has an Ultra variant which gets three electric motors and delivers the power output of 1,548 PS. This variant is equipped with the 93.7 kWh NMC battery pack, giving a 630 km range. It supports a DC charger up to 480 kW that takes only 11 minutes for 10 to 80 per cent charging. On the other hand, the YU7 is available with five variants: Standard, Long Range, Pro, Max, and GT.
The electric SUV gets a battery pack between 96.3 kWh and 101.7 kWh, giving the CLTC range up to 835 km, and the top speed is 300 kmph. The first two get electric motors and feature an RWD (rear-wheel-drive) drivetrain, and the last two get two electric motors, one is mounted on each axle, and feature an AWD (all-wheel-drive) drivetrain.

On September 7, 2026, i.e., today, Xiaomi Auto is all set to launch two new models in the Chinese market; they are the Sky Nomad N70 and the Sky Nomad N90. These vehicles are SUVs with the extended-range electric powertrain; the former one comes with a seating capacity of 5 people, and the latter with 7 people. The five-seater, two variants: Pro and Max, will go on sale, and the six-seater will be available for sale in a single variant, Max.
