What can we expect in June 2026?
In June 2026, we may get to see the Tiago EV from Tata Motors in the top 5, and if sales go better than our expectations, it is certain that it will be among the top 3. It is tough to say what sales figures will be, but we expect an increase of around 5% to 7% month-on-month growth, meaning the sales figure may fall between 27,718 and 28,246.
In May 2026, the top-selling passenger EV model is the Windsor EV, and it is most likely in June too; it will lead because of the affordable pricing and decent real-world range. Notably, it cost ex-showroom at ₹13.99 lakh to ₹18.60 lakh and was also offered with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) rental model with prices ranging from ₹9.99 lakh to ₹13.60 lakh.
Any EV launch in June 2026?
As of now, no automobile manufacturer has confirmed any date for the launch of a passenger EV in June 2026. Reportedly, Tata Motors may introduce the Sierra EV in the Indian market by the end of the month, but the confirmation is still awaited. Still there’s no word for the price; it may cost ex-showroom between 20 lakh and 25 lakh, depending on the variant.
Recently, the Safari EV from Tata Motors was spotted testing for the first time on public roads, and its launch is confirmed during the festive season. Moreover, Skoda Auto is all set to reveal the Skoda Peaq on June 23, 2026; it isn’t a launch, just a reveal. The pre-order may start with showcasing, and the launch may happen in late July or early August.
