Voyah Passion S Electric Coupe SUV Revealed - 637 hp AWD & 800V Architecture

The Dongfeng Motor Corporation’s premium EV brand Voyah has released the first official image of the upcoming mid-to-large electric coupe sport utility vehicle, Voyah Passion S. Notably, it is internally codenamed as FE and positioned as a tech-dynamic SUV. The release of its image has revealed its exterior and design; let’s have a closer look.

At the front-end, it gets split headlights; the full-width LED DRLs are placed at the high-up hood lines. Notably, there are 24 square-shaped LEDs at both ends; 12 of them are placed above the DRLs and 12 below that, in groups of 6-6, giving the modern look. Below the DRLs, main headlights are placed for better visibility while driving at night. At the centre of connected DRLs, there’s an illuminated ‘Voyah’ logo to reflect the brand’s identity.

It features a sculpted hood, on which there are two symmetrical teardrop-shaped air vents for cooling the battery pack. Seen from the front, a roof-mounted LiDAR is clearly visible; zooming in on the image identifies it as Huawei’s 896-line dual-optical unit. On the sides, it features 21-inch gunmetal grey multi-spoke forged wheels, flush-type handles for entry and exit doors, and powered body-coloured ORVMs with the integrated camera.

At the rear, features dual rear spoilers, including a subtle hollowed-out roof spoiler and a black active wing mounted directly on the decklid; muscular haunches create a wide and planted stance; and a continuous horizontal LED taillight bar with illuminated VOYAH lettering is at the centre. Dimensionally, it is 5050 mm longer, 1998 mm wider, and 1656 mm taller. Its wheelbase is 3,000 mm, same as the recently launched Xiaomi EV’s YU7 GT.

The Voyah says that it will be introduced with two drivetrains: the first with a single motor on the rear axle, featuring a rear-wheel drive (RWD) configuration, and the second with a double motor, one mounted with the front axle and another with the rear axle, featuring an all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

Reportedly, the RWD variant generates the peak power of 300 kW (402 hp), and the AWD variant’s combined power output is 475 kW (637 hp), adding the front motor’s 175 kW (235 hp) and the rear’s 300 kW (402 hp). Notably, it will come with a multiple LFP battery pack. It is built on 800-volt electrical architecture, meant to support ultra-fast charging.

An earlier report from CarNewsChina says that the car is all set to be equipped with the Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving suite, featuring both urban and highway navigation autopilot. Notably, the system works with the hardware that includes 4 LiDAR units, 3 front-facing distributed 4D millimetre-wave radars, 2 rear millimetre-wave radars, 11 high-definition cameras and 12 parking radars.

It is certain that it will come as a five-seater with the seating layout of 2-3; behind the rear seats, there will be a decent boot space that helps in carrying big luggage. The cabin is set to be equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system at the centre of the dashboard and a digital instrument cluster under the steering wheel. May also get a head-up display which projects the driving data on the windscreen.

Notably, all the specifications and features are still pending. The carmaker will reveal the details in due course. They may publicly unveil it in the second half of 2026; the launch of the car may take place in late 2026. Still there’s no word about its price; it is expected to be around 350,000 yuan, equivalent to 49.38 lakh rupees. Once launched in China, it will compete with the Xiaomi YU7 GT, Tesla Model Y, Avatr 11, Nio EC7, Zeekr 7X and Aito M9
